Life is will, could, always, be short.

It was a random thought, lets go to town, without a reason in mind. Me, Gee yang (bob) and Fredrick went with an auto at 7pm having our blast of Nando's like Grilled chicken in Bar-Be-Queen. After that dinner we went to a book fair infront of spencers, and get our hands with some handful of great books. We were suppose to went for a pool in ARRS complex. After the exhibition, we went for a chat and break in coffee world. I was talking with my mom on the phone, lucky it was not for the last time.

We call an auto, the rs150 town-hostel with an audio system on it. On the way back, he was asking if we got any song to be play on. We say, its ok we have it our way. we were chatting around and were fascinated how he got an audio system, which makes him differ from the other. We like it, then we favor for a change in music.

We insist bob to give him his Memory card (which surprisingly the driver had a memory card reader) we hand it over, and we stop by on the side of the road, below the constructed bridge. I just started blogging and insist fredrick to took a picture of whatever the driver is doing. I was arguing that the picture that he took is not clear, and he told me to take it, then bob insist that he will take it. by the fraction of seconds, before the camera flashes, a large unknown vehicle smash us from behind.

Its terrifying, i was holding the roof and subconciously screaming like i'm in a rollercoaster, never knew what had happen. After the roll stops, we reach the side of the drain. I was conscious, I'm still standing with my hand holding on to something. I saw fredrick still conscious and bob loss conscious. I'm stable, and were telling "Gee yang, wake up. Gee yang, wake up" then i tell fredrick to get out for a while. I was trying to lift him to get up, and he didn't twitch.

I figure that the blood didn't reach the brain due to the impact and shock, i lift him from the armpit and get him outside, and lay him on the ground. It was dark, and I thought my hand was full with blood coming from his head, i follow the drill by applying pressure on his head before he loss alot of blood. I simply ordered fredrick to call someone to get us an ambulance. The local construction workers were there, and come to help us out by getting water and took the auto driver out.

After the blood might have reach his head, bob regain his consciousness, I was smiling and i say "i thought i'm gonna lose another friend, haha..", "Stay strong, ambulance is coming." Fredrick called Mr rajesh, and the ambulance came from high tech, we get inside with our personal belongings and get into the hospital. We reach the ER and realize that the injuries were minor, and were so thankful that it never gone worst. One more day, thought that things might have gone worst, this is one of those days. When you face death, and live, you realize how true is "Life is short"

Walking my way straight

Woah! Its a Victorians Romance for months with Grey's Anatomy. Finally, I finished the whole season, its a tragic ending. What happen to all the happy endings? They really save all those therapy. Relationship, Responsibilities, and Rehab. All those complication they portray, how complicated is life going to be next!

So far there's progress. I have been cleaning the floor with my bare hands, those modeling waxes all around surely is cumbersome. Doing this boring stuff could help says one of the self-help book I read about in the library. I cannot recall the authors name, but he is a doctor, and the book is a solution of various minor complication you will face in your routine life. Ranging from foot odor to diarrhea. Its a fascinating book, I will make sure I look out for it the next time I went to the library.

I am still recovering, making my progress towards the betterment. Feeling has been a great motivation, to hear that someone concern about you, and talk with you is a good sign of getting yourself fix. Its not easy, but we just have to keep fighting. I keep myself stay away from negative thoughts, its a good way of getting them eradicated for good.

I have always thought that we're just a broken glass. When you fall, we are broken piece by piece. We fix them ourselves, but sometimes, someone who cares for you can also fix you. The one who cares, there is no such thing as someone who love you going to leave you alone. They took the glue, and put you back to pieces, by pieces, and then get yourself together again. How important it is to have someone who care for you, no matter where you are, what you do. You could make that mistake, but those who forgive you, are the one who believe in you, who care for you, and be there for you.

I'm an ignorant 4 year old brat. I cannot forgive myself for being such a terrible person. There are few people who did not trust me, I understand. Its time for a change, I just have be me, and honest and care much more than I use to be. Step by step i'm in that process of developing a habit that would take me somewhere in the future. I'm not going to make the one who love me upset because of my ignorance, I need to change and I want to. hahahaha!! God bless for those who help me through and shaping my life, I don't know how much i owe them!

From all this complication I have been frustrated about, There is a lot of things that i have learn. From belief to ignorance, they are just as true as it is in life. I can make changes and decide what is best for me. Because that is how it suppose to work. I wanted to be a professional surgeon, I will party like mad!, doing things casually and be me. Removing my Narcissistic personality disorder, and change my view of everything. I am hoping for the best is yet to come. Share my passion, that we might make our world a happy place to live. Lets help each other. ^_^

My Recent Behavior

Who doesn't recognize this surgeon? Grey's anatomy most glorious and Seattle Grace Hospital Head of Brain surgery department help me through the days of my faulty behavior. Concept and sincerity in this play, is far good enough inspiring. Relationship, caring and saving lives. He is outstandingly a the best I've ever known.

Drama are realistic situation put on a screen of replay, they make things comfortable. On episode 19 on season 5, he was recovering himself from the hole he's been digging. Moving on with life after removing half of the pregnant lady brain before he could be able to make a delivery. When someone believe that you could play God for once, for believing you could by yourself, is not always so. There are a few scene which is an eye opener. Could save me those therapy.

The part where he revised his skill alone in an empty O.R before the surgery, its an interesting part where you shake, and thinking to yourself, that you're not ready. The stability of your hand after those long stuffy, slob drunken days. There are times where we get upset over frustration. They are a pain, they didn't work in a snap where people make decision and say, i'm not depress i just need to get over it. Not simple as that. When your central nervous system is under depression, you can't get over it. You will be in a hole, you're getting trapped as you keep digging.

Its not easy to express, make decision, and create back a routine life again and again. You feel the loss of sanity, its a sloppy and you feel like sleep over it. You will have no idea that either its because you believe you depress, or its true that you are depress. Its a mixed feeling of overwhelming understanding that, you just can't get over it easily. You are completely shut down!

Submerge over the sea, i wanted to just do things in order. That keeps it good. I revised a few books to fight over it. I have been developing Good habit, although I have been living in a hostile environment, doesn't really matter most of the time where you can adapt to it easily. I'm proud to know the fact that people who can adapt easily are extremely intelligent person There are few prognosis over the trouble mind that this things we can't see. I'm living literary, appreciation, honesty and reversing the multitude of adversity. It has been bedazzling over the last 3 months. Having my life recovering from matters which is unkind towards the mind.

My own progress is to handle things like a surgeon. Although i'm only an Oral surgeon, but surgery, the principle sounds the same. Except that we save aesthetic compare to lives. I'm happy with the things I'm doing right now, doing things for a reason. If I'm not prepared, or haven't revise my study then there is no purpose for me to went for a test tomorrow. I guess this obligation and rules keeping us being trapped in this pile of system, prisoners of uninspiring, boring lectures. I'm beating the system, because they are faulty as too much for me to follow. They only lead to more corruption, laziness, and crappy results.

At least i do make some point even at my current state. It has been a great times realizing this pitfall that i've been going through is just a matter of time. Now I have to decide to make a change. People can talk the same thing i have heard 10 years ago from old people discussing the same knowledge they have been holding. I realize alot of things. When its reality, I can't help it but to face it. I think its time to be professional. Because I should have been one since elevating my ethos at this current rate has been greatly interest me for the betterment.

So this is it. I'm happy going through doing what i want, not a gentleman for a time being. Breaking rules, and getting things done in your own way. Its time to face it, it has been a great joy knowing you depression. I guess i'm leaving you for what you have done to me. I have no intention to know you any better, and thanks for everything. Im going to get better. Because the future is in my hands.

Atlantis World - Pavlopetri

The world's oldest known submerged town has been revealed through the discovery of late Neolithic pottery. The finds were made during an archaeological survey of Pavlopetri, off the southern Laconia coast of Greece.

Marine geo-archaeologist Dr Nic Flemming of the National Oceanography Centre, Southampton said: "The discovery of Neolithic pottery is incredible! It means that we are looking at a port city which may be 5000-6000 years old, with trade goods and wrecks nearby showing some of the very earliest days of seafaring trade in the Mediterranean."

The project is being carried out by a multidisciplinary team, including Dr Flemming, led by Mr Elias Spondylis, Ephorate of Underwater Antiquities of the Hellenic Ministry of Culture in Greece and Dr Jon Henderson, an underwater archaeologist from the Department of Archaeology at The University of Nottingham.

The underwater city was discovered in 1967 by Flemming, then at the National Institute of Oceanography. He worked out that it was Bronze Age, about 2000 BC, and arranged the permit for a team from Cambridge University to map it properly in 1968, which they did using just snorkels and tape measures. The results were published by The British School at Athens in 1969, but no further work has been done over the last 40 years. The site was so remote that its isolation protected it from human interference, while a submerged ridge of rock protected it from erosion.

Now in his 70s, Flemming has joined forces with archaeologists from the University of Nottingham and the Ephorate of Underwater Antiquities of the Hellenic Ministry of Culture as part of a five-year collaborative study of the site. The survey methods include laser range-finding on the surface and high-frequency sector-scanning sonar underwater. Their initial findings, and especially the discovery of Neolithic ceramics, mean that the submerged city was occupied at least 5,000 years ago, 1,200 years earlier than previously believed, and perhaps based on a primitive settlement much earlier still. The findings have been made public by the Greek government.

"What we've got here is something which is two or even three thousand years older than most of the submerged cities which have been studied," said Flemming: "And it is uniquely complete. We have almost the complete town plan, the main streets and all of the domestic buildings. We can study how it was used as a port, where ships came in and how trade was managed."

The total town area is about 100,000 square metres, about half of which has so far been mapped. Much is still covered by sand. The team has already found a new area of ruins, measuring about 100 by 100 metres.

Flemming is running the studies of sea-level change and tectonics at the site, while colleague Dr Neil Wells of the University of Southampton's School of Ocean and Earth Science at the National Oceanography Centre and one of his students have already modelled winds and waves to work out aspects of coastal sand transport and erosion.

There is a lot more work to do in analysing the sand movements over the site, plotting various findings of submerged 'beachrock' which can be dated showing earlier shorelines now hundreds of metres offshore, and modelling the process of inundation itself.

The Hellenic Centre for Marine Research plans to provide a geophysics research boat in 2010 to measure the sub-bottom profiles to get sediment thickness in key areas around the submerged city, and confirm the position of the shoreline at different dates.

The permit runs for another four years.

Dance, and Step South?

Despite the fact that physical space follows similar laws everywhere across the globe, cultures vary as to how space is encoded in their language. Some, for example, do not use egocentric terms such as 'left, right, front, back' to talk about spatial relations, instead using allocentric notions like 'north, south, east, west' at all times for all scales: "The spoon is north of the bowl" or "There is an snake by your Northern leg". Whether not only spatial language but also spatial cognition varies across cultures remains a contested question. In a new study, which will be published in next week's issue of Current Biology, Daniel Haun and Christian Rapold present a comparative analysis of how children from different cultures articulate spatial relations in different ways: Germans, whose language preferentially codes space in "right, left, front, back" terms, and the Akhoe Hai||om, a semi-nomadic hunter-gatherer group from Northern Namibia, whose language preferentially codes space in "North, South, East, West" terms.

How can we know the dancer from the dance?

Researchers from the same group had previously shown that cultures differ in the way they represent the locations of objects in space. However, knowing where our own hands and feet are has a strongly "egocentric" organization in the brain in various cultures. Therefore, you might expect all people to remember body movements in essentially the same manner. The new study shows that this expectation needs to be adjusted.

In the present study, the researchers asked children to learn a short dance, during which they move their clasped hands from one side of their body to the other in a right-left-right-right (RLRR) sequence. Then, the participants were rotated 180 degrees around their own axis, and asked to 'dance again'. Afterwards, they danced again in their original orientation. If participants coded the RLRR dance in egocentric coordinates they should produce a RLRR sequence after both Rotations 1 and 2. Alternatively, if participants coded a RLRR dance in allocentric coordinates they should produce a LRLL sequence after Rotation 1 and a RLRR sequence after Rotation 2. While almost all German children produced body-centred responses, the vast majority of Akhoe Hai||om children memorize movements of their limbs in relation to an external reference system anchored in their environment. Paraphrasing, their arms don't move right, but west.

"The human mind varies more across cultures than we generally assume," said Daniel Haun, member of the Max Planck Research Group for Comparative Cognitive Anthropology. "Even everyday tasks that we would never think of doing any other way, like remembering body movements, are done differently in other places. This is the kind of fact that should make us stop and reconsider how little we know about the diversity of human cognition. The Akhoe Hai||om community is an exemplar of indigenous cultures around the world with drastically different concepts of their surroundings, which are the key to understand the plasticity of the human mind. However, these astonishing cultures are constantly vanishing and therefore the documentation of this kind of human variability is a highly urgent task".

In future research the Max Planck research Group for Comparative Cognitive Anthropology aims to document the extent of cross-cultural variability in different domains of human cognition and determine the underlying uniquely human set of psychological mechanisms, which allow and stabilize the astounding cross-cultural cognitive variability across the human species.

Couples Who Do The Dishes Together Stay Happier

London, ON – A new study published by The University of Western Ontario reveals that couples who share the responsibility for paid and unpaid work report higher average measures of happiness and life satisfaction than those in other family models.

The ‘shared roles’ category, where each partner’s unpaid work is within 40-60 per cent of the total unpaid work, is a growing category that now represents more than 25 per cent of respondents. Couples are more likely to be in a shared roles model when women have more resources and when the couple is less religious.
The ‘complementary-traditional family’ model – with men doing more paid work and women doing more unpaid work – is declining, but remains the largest category.

Researchers suggest that the shared roles model is advantageous to society in terms of gender equity and its ability to maximize labour force participation by all adults. It also leaves women less vulnerable in the case of separation, divorce or death of a spouse.

The Importance of Attractiveness Depends on Where You Live

The importance of attractiveness in everyday life is not fixed, or simply a matter of human nature. Instead, the impact of our attractiveness on our social lives depends on the social environment where we live. Attractiveness does matter in more socially mobile, urban areas (and from a woman’s point of view actually indicates psychological well-being), but it is far less relevant in rural areas. In urban areas individuals experience a high level of social choice, and associating with attractive people is one of those choices. In other words, in urban areas, a free market of relationships makes attractiveness more important for securing social connections and consequently for feeling good. In rural areas, relationships are less about choice and more about who is already living in the community. Therefore, attractiveness is less likely to be associated with making friends and feeling good.

Furthermore, urban women need not have below average looks in order to experience a diminished sense of well-being and social life. Dr. Victoria C. Plaut and her team studied women at mid-life in the U.S. based on data related to their well-being, social connectedness, and their body attractiveness (assessed with a calculation of their waist-to-hip ratio). Plaut points out, “In the field of psychology, research results are generally seen as having a natural and universal applicability. This research suggests that this is far from being the case. Rather, the importance of attractiveness varies with certain sociocultural environments, and, if you think about it, urban environments are actually a relatively recent addition to human life.”

When love takes over

I have never been a champs in relationship. Its time for me to experiment on it! Muahahahha I have been reading alot of relationship books lately, but that doesn't interest me since im more on (Street smart) So, I make sure i discover them on my own. Seems like the opposite sex figuring out What the hell am i talking about. Hey, that doesn't change the fact that I love seeing couples happy for each other.

Its the most complicated thing in the world! Artist around the world sing about it, nothing else. They don't sing for politics, they don't sing for the garbage they saw during they reach home, Its one single thing. Love.

There is no logic in love. There is none. The only logic is (2 couple loving each other and having this whole chemistry. The thing is, I love it! Its great! Everybody loves its. They blind you everywhere, that personality that you love, you need, Whoa. They serve you best. Im crapping alot of bullshit here, crazy.

I'm not an expert, but there are few things along the way that i catch up with few things that would be call "the wisdom of relationship" Its hard to understand each other, but For me, have been living with the opposite sex for 20 years. I barely even understand them at all! Trust me. Gosh, Its madness. When you learn that its complicated, it is. This Meticulous things in your life is one each of us care about. Its getting crazier. I'm getting my hands on to learn, here are few things both side have to understand,

1) Body is everything - trust me, A guy said that he will sleep with any kind of girls, fat, thin, trust me, A research shows that people who utter such preference, they have the tendency to date hotter girls/guys. People don't mean what they say.

2) Enthusiasm Pawns - The thrill and exhilaration you can create, the more people gets attracted to you. Too much of something, is not always a good thing. So be moderately enthusiastic. Who doesn't love a happy ending?

3) Smart, funny, and return phone calls - there is nothing left to explain. Its just those kind of people who always lovable, and romantic that everyone is attracted too. Its not because we want somebody different, its because everyone has something in common. They want to feel better with those who they know. Everyone is different, that difference makes us feel we have something in common. That is we are different! That makes us love each other. The only reason why a short guy who dated only 2 girls in the last 6 months because all his topic is about how short he is! So, The only reason you cannot get date anyone is because all your topic is about how different you are! People do have something in common, and that common thing makes the world a better place.

4) Be honest - I never knew why this came to top 4. But honest people, these are the ones who will get better everyday

5) Good people do bad things - Good Doctors doesn't give good advice, they screw up most of the time. Repeatedly making mistake that would be dangerously hanging yourself on the edge of the line! You need those who already anticipated mistake, those bad boys/girls who doesn't play by the rules (but still by the law) that gives you the kick ass love that you ever deserve. I didn't mention mistake is a bad thing, all the things in this world is good, except hypocrisy.
